The Capri Swarm 2007 is held in conjunction with the Annual Ford Expo Show at the National trail Raceway, operated by the NHRA. Events include: Capri Car Show, Technical Clinic, Team Blitz Display, Trivia Contest, CCNA Banquet (Guest Speaker: Jon Hill, photo editor with "Classic Ford Magazine" in the United Kingdom), Classic Car Cruise-In, Team Blitz Customer Appreciation Night, and Capri Countryside Cruise.

Trophies will be presented at the banquet in the following categories: Best Stock, Longest Distance Driven in a Capri to the Swarm, Turtle trophy (For Most Spectacular Hardship), Best Modified, and Trivia Contest.

Ford Expo Events

Nostalgia Racing, Overall Car Show &, Judging (Capris are eligible), Mini-Meets, including CCNA, as well as liteningBolt 427's, Rancheros, Y-Block Shootout, Maverick/Comets, & Merkurs, Model Car Contest, Parts & Cars Vendor Area (mainly for domestic models), and three days of NHRA-style bracket racing with cash prizes of up to $1000 per class.

Admission and Banquet Costs

CCNA does not charge admission to its events, however Ford Expo has a daily admission. Children under the age of 12 are free.

The CCNA Capri Swarm banquet will be catered once again by Creative Catering and held at the Hometown Deli, a mile or so from the track, in Hebron (just off of 40, the same road as the track). We are very excited about this year's Guest Speaker, Jon Hill. Mr. Hill is the photo editor with "Classic Ford Magazine" in the United Kingdom. Jon is going to document the Swarm for a forthcoming article he's doing for Classic Ford. He'd like to meet you and shoot your Capri for publication! Polish those wheels and tune those motors! Here's your chance to show off for our pals across the water in their home magazine, and listen to Jon's chat about Capris in Europe over dinner.

Banquet reservations must be received by August 20. Attendees may fill out the banquet reservation form here , or contact Team Blitz , who have generously offered to process credit cards for the club again this year.

CCNA H.Q. Hotel:

This year, we have a new Swarm headquarters hotel. The Hampton Inn has reserved a block of rooms for us. Please mention the "Capri Swarm" block when you call to make reservations. Our group rate is $90/night (plus tax) for the smaller rooms and $110/night for the larger ones. There are only 14 rooms in our block this year, so please make your reservations early. The hotel has an indoor pool, so bring your swimsuit. Call to make reservations before August 14, when the hotel will release our block to the teeming masses.
